About Us
Our mission
Oldysh™ helps adults and caregivers navigate aging with clarity, dignity, and confidence. We turn credible research into plain-language guidance at your own pace — without overwhelm, jargon, or fear-based messaging — and bring practical education, trusted resources, and gentle self-reflection into one calm place. Aging touches health, family, work, money, identity, and end-of-life planning; too often that information is scattered across websites, handouts, and forums. You are not alone: millions of people around the world are aging or caregiving.
Why we built Oldysh™
We kept seeing people search from scratch for the same answers — caregiving stress, staying sharp, retirement, planning ahead — while good information stayed spread across articles, hospital handouts, nonprofit sites, and forums. What was missing was one clear, centralized resource that respects the science and speaks to real life.
Oldysh™ is built by people from research and clinical settings. We brought research-based guides, practical support tools, gentle mental health check-ins, and community connections under one roof — a calm starting point instead of another late-night search. We add resources when we find ones worth sharing, and our guides and tools will keep growing.
What you’ll find in the app
Research-Based Guides. Step-by-step programs on topics like caregiving, retirement, cognitive wellness, and planning ahead. Content is grounded in research and written for everyday readers. Guides include references when you want to go deeper.
Support Tools. Curated links, scripts, and checklists organized by topic — from crisis helplines to practical next steps.
Connection. Peer communities and organization-run forums where caregivers and older adults find others who understand.
Mood Check. A private on-device check-in to notice how you’re doing over time. This is a personal reflection tool, not a clinical assessment. We cannot access this information.
Journaling. Writing prompts and free-form entries, saved only on your device. We cannot access this information.
What Oldysh™ is — and isn’t
Oldysh™ provides general educational information. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. It is not a substitute for professionals who know your situation.
Mood Check and Journaling are personal reflection tools, not clinical assessments. Links in Connection and Support Tools open third-party websites we do not control or moderate. Peer forums are not medical advice.
Always consult qualified professionals for medical, legal, and financial decisions. If you are in crisis in the US or Canada, call or text 988, or call 911. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Your privacy
We do not operate a cloud database for your mood check-ins or journal entries. Those stay on your device. We cannot access them. We do not sell your personal information.
